Khandīdan dar Esteʿārah-yi Shalīk Persiska (Farsi) 2025

Mazhar Shahamat was born on November 24, 1966 (3 Azar 1345) in Reẕi, Meshginshahr County, and currently resides in Tehran. He is a writer, poet, translator, and critic, publishing his works in both Persian and Turkish. To date, dozens of his short stories, poems, and poetry collections have been released by various publishers. According to critics and readers, all of his works are distinguished by his unique style, perspective, and literary approach, setting them apart from others.

Several of Shahamat’s works have been translated into English, German, Swedish, Arabic, Turkish, and Kurdish. After publishing eight poetry collections in Iran over the years, his latest collection, “Laughing in the Metaphor of Shooting”, marks his ninth poetry book. This volume is published by Mehrī Publishing, as the third book from him following the novel “Dandān-e Hār: A Chaotic Text” and the short story collection “Deli Dāmāl and, in Other Words”.
