The script of The Best Foot is a humorous narrative centered on football. A simple-minded villager finds his only son, who is his cane, in the center of his interest in football and playing with the ball. Meanwhile, the boy is invited by a TV contest to choose the best football phenomenon and he has to pay a fee for this appearance. This incident is the beginning of the story that Hemmati has told with humor and indescribable sweetness.

فیلمنامه پای برتر روایتی است طنزآمیز با محوریت فوتبال. روستایی ساده‌دلی تنها پسر خود را که عصای دستش است در چنبره علاقه به فوتبال و بازی با توپ می‌یابد. در همین حین پسر از سوی یک مسابقه تلویزیونی برای انتخاب برترین پدیده‌های فوتبال دعوت می‌شود و باید برای این حضور مبلغی را نیز پرداخت کند. این اتفاق سرآغاز داستانی است که همتی به طنازی و شیرینی زائدالوصفی آن را بازگو کرده است.
