The book Quran and theology is the latest work of Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Muhammad Hassan Qaderdan Qaramalki, a member of the academic board of the Islamic Culture and Thought Research Institute. The researcher's effort in this 536-page research is to answer this main question: What is the relationship and role of the Quran and theology to each other? In other words, what is the role of the Quran in theology? What is the effect of theology on the Quran? And below that, answers to sub-questions include: What is the role of the Quran in establishing the science of theology? What is the role of the Quran in presenting the sources of the science of theology and its methods? What is the role of the Quran in presenting the subject, issues, and rules of the science of theology and their explanation and pathology? What is the role of the science of theology in compiling and narrating the teachings of the Quran? What is the role of the science of theology in proving the foundations and assumptions of the Quran? The most important advantage of this book is the innovation in the subject and research; meaning that the researcher did not see any book about the mutual role of the Quran and theology. And this book is the first book in this field. The innovation of this research is not limited to its subject and title, but also in the presentation of its issues and contents, the reader will witness the presentation of new topics in this book. The book is composed of two parts. In the first part, it shows that the Holy Quran has played an important role in the science of theology with various solutions in establishing and recommending the science of theology with a rational approach, in such a way that in the absence of the above verses, the science of theology would have been neglected under various pretexts such as distancing itself from the Quran or the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) or would have been limited to specific theology such as narration or sensory. The result of the above verses is the establishment of a comprehensive narration, rational and philosophical theology. The second part of the book explains the role of the science of theology, especially rational theology, in proving and explaining the foundations and teachings of the Quran (revelation, linguistic cognition, comprehensiveness, and immortality).
