The book in question is a discussion of the content of the Officers' Training Club courses. What distinguishes this work from its peers is the "simultaneous look at the foundations and the field" of training. This approach distances the trainer from existing excesses; that is, it does not confine him to operational and field issues of training, and at the same time it prevents him from drowning in deep and endless theoretical and abstract discussions; rather, it tries to present executive and practical prescriptions and suggestions that are based on the foundations and principles of training.
