One of the terrible wars of the Arab world took place in Kuwait; A part of history that is rarely discussed in fiction, especially from the point of view of the residents of Kuwait, that is, the people who lost their lives and property under Saddam Hussein's attacks. This novel narrates the cruelties and cruelties of people from before the war to after it: children whose entertainment is crimes against animals and when they grow up, they make crimes against their fellows their profession. Unrevealed violence along with humanity and morality creates such a combination in this novel that the reader is forced to make bitter judgments about its characters.

یکی از جنگ‌های هولناک جهان عرب در کویت رخ داد؛ قسمتی از تاریخ که در ادبیات داستانی کمتر به آن پرداخته می‌شود، به‌ویژه از زاویه‌ی دید ساکنان کویت، یعنی مردمی که زیر حملات صدام حسین جان و مال خویش را باختند. این رمان بی‌رحمی‌ها و شقاوت‌های مردم را از پیش از جنگ تا پس از آن روایت می‌کند: کودکانی که تفریحشان جنایت علیه حیوانات است و زمانی که بزرگ می‌شوند، جنایت علیه هم‌نوعانشان را حرفه‌ی خویش می‌کنند. خشونت‌های بی‌پرده در کنار انسانیت و اخلاق چنان ترکیبی در این رمان خلق می‌کند که خواننده ناچار به قضاوت‌هایی تلخ درباره‌ی شخصیت‌های آن می‌شود.
