کتاب مقالاتی از نسل سوم روشنفکری به همت مهدی احمدیان شیجانی گردآوری شده و حاوی مقالاتی از مهرداد بهار، احمد بهمنش، جمشید بهنام و دیگران است که از سوی انتشارات گاه به چاپ رسیده است. این اثر جلد دوم از مجموعه ای است که در پی پاسخگویی به سوالاتی پیرامون مدرنیته و مدرنیسم و مدرنیزاسیون در تاریخ و ادب معاصر ایران و به دنبال بررسی دقیق تاریخ اندیشه نوگرایی و جزئیات تفکرات مدرنیستی که در قالب جریان ها و جنبش های نوگرا ظهور پیدا کرده اند به واکاوی و بازخوانی اسنادی که کم تر به آن ها پرداخته شده و به طور مستقیم با رخدادها و جنبش های تاریخ در ارتباط بوده اند روی آورده و آن ها را در اختیار مخاطب گذاشته است.
