Haj Abbas Ali Khan Kashkuli, who is presented in this collection of two narratives of his memories in a long period of developments in the contemporary history of the Qashqai clan, from the patriarchal period of Abdullah Khan Zargham al-Dawlah and then the patriarchal period of Ismail Khan Sault al-Dawlah and even after His dismissal and handing over Qashqai to the military government during the Pahlavi period witnessed many developments of those days and some of their major players at times. Looking at Qashqai incidents and events from the perspective of the Kashkooli tribe and emphasizing the history of the Kashkooli family in the framework of the developments of the discussed period is one of the other features of this narrative.

حاج عباسعلی خان کشکولی که در این مجموعه دو روایت از خاطرات بر جای مانده از وی ارائه می شود در یک دوره طولانی از تحولات تاریخ معاصر ایل قشقایی، از دوره ایلخانی گری عبدالله خان ضرغام‌الدوله و آنگاه دوره ایلخانی‌گری اسماعیل خان صولت الدوله و حتی بعد از برکناری وی و سپردن قشقایی به دست حکومت نظامی در دوره پهلوی، هم شاهد بسیاری از تحولات آن ایام بود و هم در مقاطعی چند از بازیگران عمده آنها. نگاه به حوادث و رخدادهای قشقایی از منظر ایل کشکولی و با تاکید بر سرگذشت کشکولی‌ها در چارچوب تحولات ایلی دوره مورد بحث از دیگر ویژگی‌های این روایت است.
