پسري بعد از ترك پدر و ديار خود، به قصد ديدن دنيا و فراگيري درس هاي بيشتر، سوار بر كشتي زندگي شد، در حالي كه نمي دانست سكان دار اين كشتي ، خود اوست. بعد از فهم اين موضوع، چهره را در آينه تيره آب نگاه كرد و به نظرش آمد كه زندگي خواب و خيالي بيش نيست؛ ولي به ناچار بايد ادامه دهد چون هيچ راه بازگشتي وجود ندارد
