Difa' az Marks: Persian 1402

This collection of articles, published for the first time in 1965 by Éditions François Maspero, enjoyed exceptional success for a theoretical work: several tens of thousands of copies sold and numerous translations. As Étienne Balibar notes in his 1996 foreword: "In this book, there is one of the most original, the most eloquent, and also the most argued attempts [...] to give body and theoretical figure to the Marxism.” Since the 1960s, Marxist studies have not been able to ignore this approach which established an "epistemological break" in Marx's work, separating the ideological texts of the young Marx from those more scientific of the mature Marx. She also offered another assessment of Hegel's contribution to Marx and did not hesitate to draw inspiration from the philosophical reflections of Mao Zedong to nourish her philosophy. Few books have aroused so much theoretical passion and provoked so much debate.
