"The Tragedy of Islamic Protestantism" is a critical research on the political thought of the religious reform movement in Iran. Mohammad Quchani (born on 31 Shahrivar 1355 in Rasht) is a journalist from Iran and the owner of privilege, responsible director and editor of the New Awareness magazine. He is also a member of the Central Council and deputy of the political committee of the Iran Construction Agents Party. After the resignation of Reza Ansari, the editor of Etemad Melli newspaper, Guchani was appointed as its editor by the policy council of the newspaper. He supported Mehdi Karroubi in the 10th presidential election. After the presidential election of 2008, he was appointed as the editor of Irandokht weekly under the management of Fatemeh Karroubi.
