Mājirā-yi zindān: Persian 1395

Widmark and Willis' popular detectives Lasse and Maja have acquired Valleby's sharpest minds after more than 12 years in the detective industry. Case number 24 is a different mystery in an unusual setting: A theater play at Valleby prison barely has time to premiere before the actors disappear without a trace. Lucky that Lasse and Maja are there in the salon. The priest stages "Hamlet" at Valleby prison. He wants to cheer up the inmates with an exciting play about murder and betrayal in which the three roles are played by prisoners. On the premiere night, the expectant audience pours in, "Everyone" in Valleby is there! But as soon as the play begins, the actors behave completely screwed up: the King jumps up and down from a gap in the stage floor, Hamlet throws the skull high into the air and Ofelia does somersaults. Some are horrified but most laugh, and when the curtain falls back the audience stands and applauds. But despite all the applause, the actors never appear on stage again.
