The story is about a girl named "Sara", who went to a palace of a famous person named "Parcham", to redraw the paintings of the palace that are important to him. During her work, gradually she gets acquainted with the situation of that family and had many events. At last she marries with Parcham and became the first woman of the palace and starts a good relation with Parcham's daughter "Durna".

ماجراي داستان مربوط به زندگي دختري است نقاش به نام "سارا" كه براي نقاشي در قصر شخصيتي صاحب نام استخدام مي شود. كار اصلي او بازسازي نقاشي هايي است كه از نظر صاحبش بسيار حايز اهميت هستند. سارا در طول مدت نقاشي، به تدريج با اوضاع و احوال خانواده آشنا مي شود، حوادث متعددي از سر مي گذراند و عاقبت با "پرچم"، صاحب قصر، ازدواج مي كند و بانوي اول قصر مي گردد. او همچنين با دختر صاحب قصر، يعني "درنا" روابط حسنه اي برقرار مي سازد.
