"Barbara Wood" who is one of the members of medical and cure staff, talks about the events that happen to 3 generations of colonialists, through a complete fineness and unique delicacy, from the relationship between the migrants themselves from one hand and African natives from other, and also their loves and disappointments. The writer has such an ability in process of the scenes of the story that the reader feels she should be from the 2nd or 3rd English exiled generations of Kenya
