«این مار مثل همه مارهای دیگر زندگی طبیعی و آرام خودش را دارد. در ضمن او نیشی دارد که فقط هنگام دفاع از خود در برابر شکارچیانش یا برای شکاری که مورد نظرش است، از آن استفاده می‌کند. ولی اگر این چیزها را به او یاد بدهی، با اندک شناختی که از شما دارم، این مار تبدیل می‌شود به حیوانی چون شما انسان‌ها. در این صورت نیشش را در بدن هر حیوانی، بی‌هیچ دلیلی، از روی نفرت یا زیاده‌خواهی یا حتی سرگرمی، فرو می‌کند.»
