The science of the principles of Fiqh is one of the key sciences without which it is not possible to derive general rulings from the Book and Sunnah. This science teaches a series of rules to a person who is on the path of inference, and by observing those rules, it becomes easier to receive the divine ruling from the sources of religious evidence. The science of the principles of jurisprudence, like other human sciences, has various terms, and especially because of its expansion in the last three centuries, it has acquired many terms. Explaining these terms is the teacher's duty to clarify them before entering into each discussion. Isa Valai was born in 1329 in Amol. He completed his studies in Qom and Tehran and graduated with a doctorate in law. His seminary education also went beyond jurisprudence and principles. In addition to teaching at the university and his scientific responsibilities, Valai has been a member of the council for the implementation of government approvals and laws for several years, and in addition to that, he has been the representative of the people of Amol and Tehran in the Islamic Council, the representative of Amol students in the seminary. He has been a consultant and vice president of Tehran University, director of textbook editing, and vice president of research at the Imam Khomeini Research Institute.
