Donya Kamal (born in 1980 in Cairo) is a well-known individual in the Arab world. In addition to his media activity in Egypt and the UAE and the production of television programs, he also writes and his stories are noted by literary circles. Random Arrangements is the narration of a female journalist's experiences of the difficulties of living in a closed and traditional society, the difficulties of professional activity in an authoritarian environment, and her struggle for independence and liberation. In a part of the book, a vivid picture of the passionate and chaotic atmosphere of Cairo during the "Arab Spring" and the hopes of the young generation seeking freedom and transformation is drawn.
