Malik Al-Shaara Qari Abdullah, (Kabul, 1322-1247) is one of the leaders of contemporary poetry in Afghanistan and in 1313 he received the title of Malik Al-Shaarai. In addition to teaching and being a secretary in Kabul schools, he compiled and edited textbooks and did not neglect to correct manuscripts. According to the literary atmosphere of Kabul at that time, Qari Abdullah's taste is in the Indian style and with a simple, fluent but firm and firm language. First, a selection of his poems was published in Lahore in 1302 A.H., and his divan was published for the first time in 1334 A.H. in Kabul.
