Rawz̤ah al-shuhadā': Persiska (Farsi) 1399

Rawda al-Shahda is one of the most important, most famous, most read, and oldest Persian poems - written by Molhasin Waez Kashfi (840-910 AH), one of the prominent writers and speakers of Herat in the 9th and 10th centuries. This book established the tradition of reciting prayer in Iran and became the source of the Ta'zieh narrative. Many poets, writers, and storytellers were inspired by Rawda al-Shahada to create literary and artistic works. So far, dozens of works based on this book have appeared. Rawda al-Shahada was composed in ten chapters in 908 AD at the end of the Timurid era. The focus of the book is on the incident of Karbala, but chapters of it describe the sufferings of other Shia prophets and imams. From one point of view, it can be considered a historical story with literary values rather than a reliable historical text. In addition to its narration and the Persian language of the text, the fame of Rawda al-Shahda is due to its beautiful phrasing, mystical dimensions, and literary language. The author has created attractive prose and used story elements to create a lasting effect on people over several centuries.
