"Rene Descartes" was born in 1596 in the city of The Hague. After studying at the Jesuit school, he received his diploma and bachelor's degree in the field of law (civil law and Sharia law) from the University of Poitiers. A university is known for its legal education. In 1618, Descartes has a great desire to deal with his human existence. He is only 22 years old at this time. Descartes goes to Holland and joins the Protestant corps of "Maurice Nassau". He later mentions something that attracted him to the military profession in those days: "passionate heart". Descartes is not believed to have ever fought. It seems that life in the barracks makes him feel bored and sleepy from the very beginning. Descartes meets "Isaac Beckman", a scientist who is older than him; Mathematics brings the two together. A deep friendship is formed between the two and Descartes' mind is awakened. Descartes spent his life taking steps in the search for truth, which he considered "the main good of life". Philosophy was the theme of his life and he did not consider it a kind of vanity, but he found in it a kind of enthusiasm. He wrote in a letter: "Please always believe that I am alive, philosophizing, and passionate."
