Robert Aldrich left his family fortune to pursue a career in Hollywood. He became one of the pioneers of the American cinema industry, became the president of the American Director's Association, and made a number of good films and cinematic masterpieces. Robert Aldrich, Anthony Mann, Nicholas Ray, and Richard Brooks were the authors whom the critics of Caye de Cinema magazine nicknamed "Baghi".
