This story is part of the life of a young boy who lives in a luxurious house with his parents. They have a dog that the mother is very fond of and the boy is jealous of. A big financial problem occurs for their family, during which the parents' attention to the boy and of course to the dog is very less. Parents try their best not to let the boy know about the incident. The boy knows something is going on behind the scenes but he doesn't know what it is. Guess they have to sell the dog due to financial issues. He is hesitant and lonely, he takes refuge in a dog and befriends him. In the end, their family is forced to move to a smaller house. The boy is happy that he did not lose his friend.

این داستان بخشی از زندگی پسری خردسال است که در خانه‌ی مجللی با پدر و مادرش زندگی می‌کند. آنها سگی دارند که مادر بسیار به آن علاقه دارد و اسباب حسادت پسرک می‌شود. مشکل مالی بزرگی برای خانواده آن‌ها پیش می‌آید که در خلال آن توجه پدر و مادر به پسر و البته به سگ بسیار کم می‌شود. پدر و مادر نهایت تلاششان را می‌کنند که پسر از ماجرا باخبر نشود. پسر می‌داند در پس پرده اتفاقی در جریان است اما نمی‌داند چیست. حدس می‌زند به دلیل مسائل مالی، باید سگ را بفروشند. او مردد و تنهاست، به سگ پناه می‌برد و با او رفیق می‌شود. در پایان، خانواده‌ی آن‌ها ناچار به اسباب‌کشی به خانه‌ی کوچکتری می‌شوند. پسر از این‌که دوستش را از دست نداده است، خوشحال است.
