Afsānah'hā-yi Tibāy: Persiska (Farsi) 1403

The Theban Legends book is a collection of three plays, Oedipus Shahriar, Oedipus in Kelnos, and Antigone, written by Sophocles. Oedipus Shahriar's play still raises one of the most basic human questions with a unique power and influence: "Who am I?" The story of this work immerses the audience in its terrifying and mythological world, it deals with a king who, in complete ignorance, kills his father and marries his mother. In narrating the story of Oedipus and the tragedy that occurs at the end of it, this play displays perfect harmony between the characters and their actions. In addition, the artistic and appropriate use of dramatic irony has caused the catastrophic events and the emotions of different characters in this timeless work to have a double effect on the audience.
