In his twenties, Buñuel was more of a man of words than a person. As evidenced by this book, in previous years, several screenplays and a memoir of Buñuel have been translated into Farsi and printed, but this is the first time that his poems and stories have been published. They are translated into Farsi.

اگر بشود تمام زندگی یک آدم را تنها با یک صفت تعریف کرد، لوئیس بونوئل یک سینماگر است تمام عیار ،مؤلف صاحب سبک... اما زندگی تنها یک صفت ندارد. بونوئل در دهه ی بیست عمرش بیشتر آدم واژه ها بوده تا آدم ،تصاویر به گواهی همین کتاب حاضر در سالهای قبل، چندین فیلم نامه و یک کتاب خاطرات از بونوئل به فارسی برگردانده و چاپ شده اند اما این نخستین بار است که اشعار و داستانهای او به فارسی ترجمه می شوند.
