Maktab-e Zanān: Majmūʿeh-ī Del-angīz dar Akhbār-e Zanān Persiska (Farsi) 2026

This book offers a broad historical and analytical examination of the status and value of women in human societies, tracing the evolution of their roles and characteristics from ancient times to the present day. Drawing on historical, religious, and cultural evidence, the author demonstrates that women, throughout much of history, have faced deprivation, oppression, revolutions, and widespread limitations. At the same time, however, they have played profound and inspiring roles in the formation of human culture, history, and civilization.

The book is organized into three main sections. The first introduces influential, culture-shaping, history-making, poetic, reformist, and renowned women, portraying vivid examples of love, sacrifice, and the impact of distinguished women throughout history. More than anything, this section emphasizes women’s role in shaping the cultural and social identities of societies, showing how they have transcended imposed limitations to become creators of culture.

The second section examines the qualities, virtues, attributes, and existential wonders of women. Through a descriptive and at times critical lens, it explores the representation of women in historical statements, beliefs, and judgments.

In the third section, the author addresses subjects such as women’s shortcomings, intelligence, loyalty, and leadership.

Taken as a whole, this book invites readers to engage in serious reflection on the path women have traveled throughout history and raises a fundamental question about the extent to which their rights and aspirations have been realized in the contemporary world.
