Narratology is one of the methods of text analysis that can be widely used in the field of fiction studies. Given that most books related to the science of narratology have only dealt with theoretical issues, this book has attempted to present the most practical theories of narratology, while also presenting examples from various texts of Persian literature to better explain the topics. Also, to familiarize yourself with how these theories are applied, several fiction texts have been explained and interpreted from the perspective of narratology. The approach of this book is educational, and it is hoped that the materials presented can be used as a practical model by those interested.

روایت شناسی یکی از شیوه‌های تحلیل متن است که در حوزه‌ی مطالعات داستانی می‌تواند کاربرد فراوانی داشته باشد. با توجه به اینکه بیشتر کتاب‌های مرتبط با دانش روایت‌شناسی تنها به مسائل نظری پرداخته‌اند، در این کتاب تلاش شده است ضمن بیان کاربردی‌ترین نظریه‌های روایت‌شناسی، برای تبیین بهتر موضوعات، مثال‌هایی از متون گوناگون ادبیات فارسی ارائه شود. همچنین برای آشنایی با چگونگی کاربست این نظریه‌ها، چند متن داستانی از منظر روایت‌شناسی شرح و تفسیر شده است. رویکرد این کتاب، رویکردی آموزشی است و امید است مطالب ارائه شده بتواند به‌عنوان الگویی کاربردی مورد استفاده علاقه‌مندان قرار گیرد‌.
