In this work, first, a brief overview of the rule of obligation and its history, importance, and application in Islamic jurisprudence and law is given, then the dimensions of this jurisprudential and legal rule, the historical course of jurisprudential rules and the nature of the rule of obligation and its lexical and terminological meaning are stated. Then, the author discusses the characteristics and jurisprudential foundations of the rule of obligation and examines the provisions and text of the rule of obligation and the scope of this rule in jurisprudence and law. Next, he refers to the documents of the rule of obligation from the Quran, narrations, consensus, the legal tradition,n and the wise tradition in this field analyzes some narrations on this subject, and examines the relationship of the rule of obligation with some other rules such as the rule of confession, the rule of specific purposes and the rule of signature, obligation or necessity. Finally, he compares the provisions of the rule of obligation in jurisprudence and lawcomparativelyr and explains the applications of this rule in various jurisprudential and legal issues.
