The newspaper is one of the oldest and most authoritative newspapers in Persian-speaking countries, with a history of publication for nearly a hundred years. The newspaper contains important news and articles about Afghanistan, which are very useful both for knowing the contemporary history of Afghanistan and for getting acquainted with the relations between the governments and nations of the two countries. These can be valuable resources for historical, social and political research. In this book, by searching among about eight thousand issues of the newspaper, all the articles about Afghanistan published in this newspaper between 1307 and 1333 AD have been collected.

روزنامه اطلاعات، از روزنامه های معتبر و دیرین در کشورهای فارسی زبان است، با سابقه انتشار قریب به صد سال. این روزنامه خبرها و مقالات مهمی درباره افغانستان دارد، مطالبی که هم برای شناخت تاریخ معاصر افغانستان بسیار سودمند است، هم برای آشنایی با مناسبات میان دولت ها و ملت های دو کشور. این ها می تواند منابع ذی قیمتی برای تحقیقات تاریخی و اجتماعی و سیاسی باشد. در کتاب حاضر، با کاوش در میان حدود هشت هزار شماره روزنامه اطلاعات، همه مطالبی که درباره افغانستان در فاصله زمانی 1307 تا 1333 شمسی در این روزنامه منتشر شده، گرد آمده است.
