This book is a collection of humorous stories of the world's most famous humorists, and the most famous story of each author has been selected. Most of these stories belong to the first half of the 20th century or earlier; therefore, this collection can be considered an anthology of classic humorous stories. The book also has an extensive introduction that introduces the satirists and provides a brief interpretation of each story that helps to understand better the meaning, value, and place of the story in the satirical short story genre.
