Zaydīyah dar Īrān: Persiska (Farsi) 1401

This book is a collection of short and long articles and notes with a focus on the history of culture and literature and the intellectual developments of Zaidiyyah in Iran. As a branch of Shiism, from the very first years of its emergence in Iraq, Zaidiyyah found an important connection with Iran and Iranians with various political and religious dimensions. These links continued at least until the beginning of the Safavid era in different forms of political, religious, cultural, and intellectual presence in different parts of Khorasan, Ray, and northern Iran, and the Zaydis established local governments in different ways, especially in northern Iran. The importance of Zaidiyyah in Iran is not limited to these cases. Yemen, which has been the main base of Zaidiyya throughout the history of Islam, its Zaidi religion has been in a continuous and very influential and bilateral link with Iranian Zaidiyya, and it can be claimed with scientific certainty that without the culture and literature of Iranian Zaidiyya, it is not possible to talk about the formation and continuity of Yemeni Zaydiyya. In the last few hundred years, even though this relationship has become weaker, the Zaidiyya of Yemen still recognize the echoes of Zaidiyya ideas of Iran and the history of the Zaydi religion of our land in their religious and political works, ideas, and actions. This close and mutual relationship is not only due to the religious and emotional connection between the two schools of Zaydiyya and Imamiyyah throughout history (which we have discussed in this book), but also as a result of the shared cultural, intellectual, and religious history between the two Zaydi communities of Iran. And Yemen should be evaluated throughout history.
