Writing a specialized vocabulary dictionary is one of the most difficult sub-branches of applied linguistics because it makes the author face many challenges and since the present descriptive-applied dictionary was written in the field of technology and virtual education and especially computer-based language education, The challenges have been twofold. The purpose of this work is to familiarize the audience with the most frequent and useful words of educational technologies, which have been made after several years of efforts based on a large body of research in this field. Hope that it will open the way for the followers of science in the inclusive and expanding field of virtual education.

نگارش فرهنگ واژگان تخصصی، یکی از دشوارترین زیر شاخه‌های زبانشناسی‌کاربردی است زیرا نویسنده را با چالش‌های متعددی روبرو می‌سازد و از آنجائیکه واژه‌نامه توصیفی-کاربردی¬حاضر، در حوزه فنآوری و آموزش مجازی و بطور خاص آموزش‌ زبان از طریق رایانه به رشته تحریر درآمده، این چالش‌ها دو چندان بوده است. هدف این اثر آشنا نمودن مخاطبان با پربسامدترین و کاربردی‌ترین واژگان فنآوری‌های آموزشی است که پس از چند سال تلاش بر مبنای جستجوی پیکره وسیعی در این حیطه، صورت پذیرفته است. امید که راهگشای پویندگان علم در حوزه فراگیر و روبه‌ گسترش آموزش مجازی باشد.
