The subject of this book is the history of traditional medicine in Iran in 1344-1193 AD. This book first provides information about traditional treatments with medicinal plants, then points out women's medicine in old Tehran and how to establish private and public charity clinics. In the following, common diseases in old Tehran are introduced, and at the end, the customs of visiting the sick are described.

موضوع این کتاب تاریخ علم پزشکی سنتی در ایران به سال 1193 - 1344 ق است. در این کتاب ابتدا اطلاعاتی درباره درمان‌های سنتی با گیاهان دارویی ارائه می‌شود، سپس نکاتی درباره پزشکی زنان در تهران قدیم و نحوه تأسیس درمانگاه‌های خیریه خصوصی و دولتی مطرح می‌شود. در ادامه بیماری‌های شایع در تهران قدیم معرفی می‌شود و در پایان آداب عیادت از بیمار، بیان می‌گردد.
