Mukhtar Khan Gerginpur (1343-1285) was one of the close and special agents of Ismail Khan, the chief of the tribes, Sault al-Dala. The memories left him about how Sault al-Dawlah gained power in a fundamental struggle with other claimants to the presidency and their domestic and foreign supporters in a critical period of Iranian history, between the weakening of the Qajar monarchy and the formation of the constitutional movement until the fire of the first war subsided. The world is fundamentally different compared to other existing sources. Unlike most of those sources that include official documents and reports or memories of major readers. Mukhtar Khan's memoirs have been written from a different perspective, from the position of the middle levels of the Ili hierarchy, and far from the considerations and compliments of the aforementioned narratives, it presents a more realistic picture of the political and social developments of the period under discussion.

مختارخان گرگین پور (1343 – 1285 ش) یکی از نزدیکان و کارگزاران خاص اسماعیل خان سردار عشایر، صولت الدله بود. خاطرات برجای مانده از او درباره ی چگونگی قدرت گرفتن صولت الدوله در یک کشاکش اساسی با دیگر مدعیان ریاست و حامیان داخلی و خارجی آنها در یک دوره ی بحرانی از تاریخ ایران در فاصله ی تضعیف سلطنت قاجار و شکل گیری نهضت مشروطه تا فرونشستن آتش جنگ اول جهانی، در قیاس با دیگر منایع و مآخذ موجود تفاوت اساسی دارد. برخلاف اکثر آن منابع و مآخذ که بیشتر اسناد و گزارش هایی رسمی یا خاطران خوانین عمده را شامل می شوند. خاطرات مختارخان از یک منظر متفاوت، از جایگاه سطوح میانی سلسله مراتب ایلی نگاشته شده است و به دور از ملاحظات و تعارفات روایات پیش گفته، از تحولات سیاسی و اجتماعی دوره ی مورد بحث تصویر واقعی تری ارائه می کند.
