"Illuminations" is a collection of six essays written by Walter Benjamin, a German philosopher and a member of the Frankfurt School. The original language of these articles was German, and this book was translated from the English translation of the articles and compared to the original German version. این کتاب اولین‌بار در سال 1366 با عنوان نشانه‌ای به رهایی» توسط انتشارات تندر منتشر شده بود و اکنون با ویرایش و بازبینی جدید در نشرمرکز منتشر شد.
