«عادت میکنیم» نوشته زویا پیرزاد، رمانی ظریف و واقعگرایانه درباره زندگی زنان، روابط خانوادگی و پیچیدگیهای عاطفی در جامعه معاصر ایران است. داستان از خلال زندگی سه زن از سه نسل مختلف روایت میشود: ماهمنیر، آرزو و آیه؛ زنانی که هر یک با دغدغهها، خواستهها و نگاه متفاوت خود به زندگی، تصویری چندلایه و انسانی از تجربه زنانه ارایه میکنند.
تمرکز اصلی رمان بر شخصیت آرزو است؛ زنی مستقل که میان مسیولیتهای خانوادگی، احساسات شخصی و انتظارات اجتماعی در جستوجوی تعادل است. زویا پیرزاد با نثری روان و نگاهی دقیق، از کلیشههای رایج فاصله میگیرد و شخصیتهایی باورپذیر و زنده خلق میکند که خواننده بهراحتی با آنها همدلی میکند.
