The book begins with Farhad Mihrad's biography and the chapter; "Farhad Mihrad from a different look" is articles about his artistic and social character. In the chapter, "Interviews" there is a collection of interviews and discourses about him. And the other chapter is "Farhad Mihrad in News" is about the first news of his illness till the last news of his funeral. In the end of the book some of his lyrics are published.

اين كتاب حاصل تاثرات و تالمات نويسندگان و هنرمندان ايراني است كه از داخل و خارج كشور مقالاتي به ياد هنرمند درگذشته زنده ياد فرهاد مهراد نوشته اند كه در نشريات گوناگون به چاپ رسيده است. كتاب با سال نگار فرهاد آغاز شده و در فصلي تحت عنوان "فرهاد مهراد از نگاه ديگر" مقالاتي درباره ي شخصيت هنري و اجتماعي او فراهم آمده است. در بخش "گفتگو ها" مجموعه ي مصاحبه ها و گفتگوهايي را كه درباره ي فرهاد در دسترس بود جمع آوري شده است. در بخش "فرهاد مهراد در خبرها" از اولين خبرها درباره ي بيماري فرهاد تا آخرين خبرها درباره ي به خاك سپردن وي تدوين شده است. در پايان متن ترانه هاي فرهاد را تا آنجا كه ممكن بود، به چاپ رسيده است.
