The waves of the sea passed above his head and run out through the window. Voices of immigrant sea birds fill the room. Her wife's voice sends them away. Aren't you ready yet? It's too late and we have to buy flowers too. The hero said: I was testing the pen; it's nice and soft.

"سفر به درياي آبي ژرف" يكي از اين داستان هاست: قهرمان جوري به خودنويس نگاه مي كرد، انگار اين اولين و تنها خودنويس همه عمرش است. روزنامه را تا كرد و زير كاغذ گذاشت. اول نوشت "آبي". ياي آبي را جور خوشگلي شكسته و كشيده بود سمت آي آن. بعد نوشته را كرد "درياي آبي" ياي دريا هم به همان خوشگلي شكسته و كشيده بود. بعد نوشته را كرد "دورترين درياي آبي"، بعد "دورترين درياي آبي ژرف". به آنچه نوشته بود خيره ماند. موج هاي دريا از سرش گذشتند و از پنجره جاري شدند به بيرون. صداي مرغان مهاجر دريايي، اتاق را پر كرد. صداي زنش، همهمه مرغان مهاجر را پس راند؛ هنوز آماده نشدي؟ مي دوني چقدر دير شده؟ تازه سر راه بايد گل هم بخريم. قهرمان گفت: داشتم خودنويس را امتحان مي كردم. قشنگه. نرم هم مي نويسه.
