This story is about a powerful lion king and its relatives and two friends, one of them clever and wise (Kililih) and the other clever but greedy (Dimnih). Klilih with its advices tries avoiding Dimnih to deceive the lion. But Dimnih wanted to achieve the power. At last Dimnih made the lion to kill its better friend the cow.

داستان درباره شير، فرمانرواي قدرتمند جنگل و نزديكان اوست. حكايت دو دوست، يكي خردمند و آينده نگر (كليله) و ديگري باهوش ولي طمعكار (دمنه) است. كليله سعي ميكن تا با پندهاي خود دمنه را از فريب دادن شير منصرف كند. ولي سرانجام دمنه شير را مجبور به كشتن بهترين دوست خود، گاو مي كند.
