This story is about a forgotten old man, Vishnu, who is living in the stairs of a forth floor building in Bombay, is going on with his last days of life and the neighbors are quarrel with each other about the payment of ambulance. In this building a few families live that each of them are a the religious and social symbol of the contemporary society of India.

داستان درباره پيرمرد فراموش شده ايست، ويشنا، كه در راه پله هاي يك ساختمان چهارطبقه در بمبئي زندگي ميكند و روزهاي پاياني عمرخود را سپري ميكند و همسايگان بر سر پرداخت هزينه آمبولانس با يكديگر مشاجره مي كنند. اين ساختمان محل زندگي چند خانواده است كه هر يك نماد مذهبي و اجتماعي جامعه معاصر هند قلمداد مي شوند.
