داستاني از انقلاب ايران و ماجراي ديدار معهود فرح و بني صدر در قاهره. كتاب حاضر از چند جهت واجد اهميت است. نويسندة آن فرزند دومين رئيس سازمان اطلاعات و امنيت كشور(ساواك) است كه پيش از انقلاب به محافل درباري و دولتي راه داشته و بعد از انقلاب با بختيار و فرح پهلوي همكار و مأنوس بوده و به ديدار بني صدر رفته است. با مطالعة اين كتاب مي توان به حقايق تازه اي دربارة اپوزيسيون خارج از كشور، روحيات افرادي چون بختيار و بني صدر، و تلاش هاي رژيم شاه براي نجات خود در آخرين ماههاي پيش از انقلاب پي برد و بخصوص چهره هاي مرموزي چون منوچهر قرباني فر، بازيگر كودتاي نوژه و رسوايي ايران - كنترا را بهتر شناخت.
