About the Author Bijan Moridani Born in a small town on the shore of the caspian sea in northern Iran in 1941, Bijan Moridani got his MD from Pahlavi University Medical School in Shiraz. He did his residency at a Yale University-affiliated hospital in Connecticut. Moridani returned to Iran in 1973 and entered academia.
