Tārīkh-i Marz'hā-yi Irān va Pākistān: Persiska (Farsi) 1404

This book examines the historical course of the formation of the Iran-Pakistan borders, which separate Iran from the Indian subcontinent. Despite the high importance of this border due to its proximity to the two countries of Pakistan and formerly India, it has been less discussed in the country's geopolitical literature, and many aspects of how it was formed have remained hidden. While the current border, due to its history, which dates back to before the formation of Pakistan in 1947 and was in fact the border between Iran and the British Indian colony, was one of the controversial borders of Iran in the 19th and 20th centuries; so that throughout the 19th century and thereafter, Britain always tried to expand the border westward to the detriment of Iran. The authors' goal in this book is to examine the history of the formation of Iran's eastern borders, the influential actors and their various goals in drawing the border, and the consequences of foreign intervention and domestic politics on the eastern borders have also been examined.
