During his long and distinguished career, the Croatian writer Miroslav Krleza (1893-1981) battled against many forms of tyranny. As folly piles on folly, hypocrisy on hypocrisy, reason itself begins to give way, and the edge between reality and unreality disappears.

میروسلاو کرلژا (1893-1981) نویسنده کروات بود که غالباٌ به عنوان بزرگترین نویسنده کروات قرن بیستم شناخته می شود. او آثار قابل توجهی در همه گونه های ادبی از جمله شعر، تئاتر، داستان کوتاه، رمان و خاطرات نوشت.
