Under the spell of the old Carpathian molar, the twins Ostap and Darinka fall into the past. To return, they need to free Ivan the oprushka and his beloved Marisya, the daughter of the governor of Zolochiv castle, from the captivity of the black sorcerer's spell. To overcome his charms, the children will have to overcome a long and difficult path through impassable thickets of Carpathian forests, dark dungeons of Lviv churches, and impregnable walls of castles guarded by ancient spirits and ghosts. And so they still have to overcome the terrible witch queen Bona to save their younger sister Olena... But when they are together, nothing will stand in their way!

Під дією чарів старого карпатського мольфара близнята Остап і Даринка потрапляють у минуле. Щоб повернутися назад, їм необхідно визволити опришка Івана та його кохану Марисю, доньку воєводи Золочівського замку, з полону закляття чорного чаклуна. І, щоб побороти його чари, дітям доведеться подолати довгий складний шлях через непролазні хащі карпатських лісів, темні підземелля львівських костелів та неприступні стіни замків, які охороняють древні духи й привиди. А відтак вони ще мусять подолати страшну королеву-відьму Бону, щоб урятувати свою меншу сестричку Оленку... Та коли вони разом — їм ніщо не стане на заваді!
