Darbārah-yi Zanān: Du Risālah az Dani Dīdiraw: Persiska (Farsi) 1403

The present book consists of two treatises written by Denis Diderot, a famous thinker and writer of the 18th century, which shows the evolution of the view of women during the Enlightenment period. In the first treatise, we get to know the roots of Diderot's thoughts about women. Diderot shows that courage is not the exclusive property of men and women have also benefited from courage equally and naturally. In the second treatise, which is considered one of the most advanced articles on women and an example of subtle thought and eloquent words, Diderot, in addition to the role of education, also considers natural female characteristics as a criterion for recognizing women. But the novelty and value of his view lies in the fact that he tries to remove the historical ugliness from female characteristics and present them as human, understandable, and respectable characteristics. In both treatises, Diderot tries to use nature as a standard, both where he believes that nature has divided courage equally between men and women, and where he considers the difference between the sexual organs of women and men to be involved in explaining some of their different behaviors.
