The present book deals with the important issue of cultural hangouts in Iran from the beginning to today. کتاب حاضر به موضوع مهم پاتوق های فرهنگی در ایران از آغاز تا امروز» می پردازد در فصل نخست تعریف پاتوق تاریخچه پاتوق و پاتوق نشینی در ایران انواع و اقسام پاتوق ها قهوه خانه ها به عنوان نمادی کامل از پاتوق های سنتی و دیگر انواع پاتوقهای فرهنگی آمده است. در فصل دوم به تفصیل دربارٔ نام ونشان و نوع کافه های روشنفکری در دهه های قبل از انقلاب و نقش آنها در جریان های ادبی بحث شده است. در فصل سوم پدیده نوظهور «کافه کتاب» در دوره نزدیک به ما به عنوان ترکیبی از دو مقوله کافه و کتاب که جانشین کافه های روشنفکری شده مورد بحث قرار گرفته است. از مؤلف این کتاب احمد راسخی لنگرودی متولد (۱۳۳۷) کتاب های متعددی در شناخت و تحلیل جلوه ها و جریان های کمتر شناخته شده از زیست فکری و اجتماعی و فرهنگی ایران معاصر منتشر شده است.
