Bahai started writing books from the age of sixteen, he traveled a lot because he learned many things and gained valuable experiences during his travels. He was a mathematician, engineer, architect, jurist, poet and commentator of high reputation. The architecture of the Imam mosque in Isfahan and the construction of the religious clock are among his useful works. He lived very simply and trained many students. Among his books, we can refer to: Milk and Sugar, Nan and Halva, Tooti Namah and Kashkul. The present book is an artistic narration of the mouse and his cat, which was written by Mostafa Rahmandoost.

بهایی از شانزده سالگی به نوشتن کتاب روی آورد، او بسیار سفر می کرد زیرا در سفرهایش مطالبی فراوانی را می آموخت و تجاربی ارزشمند به دست می آورد. او ریاضی دان، مهندس، معمار، فقیه، شاعر و مفسری با شهرت بالا بود. معماری مسجد امام اصفهان و ساخت ساعت شرعی از جمله کارهای سودمند اوست. وی بسیار ساده زندگی می کرد و شاگردان فراوانی تربیت نمود. از کتاب هایش می توان به: شیر و شکر، نان و حلوا، طوطی نامه و کشکول اشاره داشت. کتاب حاضر روایتی است هنرمندانه از موش و گربه او، که مصطفی رحماندوست به انجام رسانده است.
