The official education of history knowledge in Iran includes only two fields: school and university; Because it is still not possible to talk about the private and informal field of history education in Iran. In the meantime, the audience for history education in the country's schools is very wide, and students from elementary to high school learn the history of Iran and the world from the most ancient times to the present day based on textbooks. Out of the large number of students, only a few choose to study history in the university and continue their studies in this field. The talk about the importance of teaching history in the country's schools is related to the fact that the periods of pre-university education provide an important opportunity to teach the history of the country to the younger generations of the society, which should be used well to promote historical knowledge in the society. At the same time, the emphasis on presenting the official narrative of history in textbooks has caused that with the change of policies and governments, history books are also modified and changed, and this has brought problems and consequences.
