بازخواني قتل هاي زنجيره اي در ايران. قصه دموكراسي نيز از پديده هايي است كه دو چهره دارد. مردماني كه بر خوان نعمت آن نشسته اند شاهدان سيماي خوش آنند، اما دموكراسي يك سيماي تراژيك نيز دارد. در هر دياري كه امروز اين واژه در مقام قانون نشسته است، دموكراسي راههاي پر پيچ و خمي را پشت سر نهاده است. مقالاتي كه پابه پاي حادثه قتل هاي زنجيره اي نوشته شده اند، حاوي ظرايف و نكات مهمي هستند كه در سالهاي بعد دستيابي به برخي از آن نكات ممكن نيست. در اين كتاب، نخست مقالاتي در بستر جاري رخدادها نوشته شده، سپس با گذشت يكسال مورد بازبيني قرار گرفته است
