"An Introduction to the Sociology of Literature" is a collection of thirty-one articles by twenty great and well-known thinkers of the world, which Dr. "Mohammad Jafar Poyandeh" has translated into Persian. The first thinker whose essays are selected in this book is "Lucien Goldman", from whom three articles have been brought in line with the sociology of literature. Articles by "Jacques Lenard" have been selected regarding the various branches of this field, and then essays by "Jean-Yves Ait" have been mentioned to introduce its founders. To describe the experimental and dialectical methods in the sociology of literature and the sociology of the novel, articles by "Pierre V. Zima" have been collected, and an article by Dr. "Mohammad Jafar Poyandeh" entitled "Kohler: A New Perspective in the Sociology of Literature" has been brought.
