Walter Hintz is one of the prominent scientists among dozens of great German Iranologists who have offered fundamental and unique research to the world of Iranology in the last two centuries. Hintz (1906-1992) was a prolific Iranologist and especially a specialist in Iranian script and languages and the civilization of Elam. In many fields of Iranian studies (such as Achaemenid and Sasanian history and civilization, Zoroastrianism, epigraphy, Safavid history, and the science of weights and measures), he was the owner of pure and extensive research that has been published in countless books and articles. Although many of these achievements remain unknown and abandoned among Iranians. After 1960, Hintz became more and more interested in the subjects of ancient Iran and to a large extent abandoned his previous studies in the history of the modern age. Since then, his growing interest has been focused on the study of the Achaemenian civilization and languages and ancient Elam. Although Walter Hintz was not an archaeologist, he was also a member of the German Archaeological Institute. He trained many students in the field of Iranology, and each of them tried to illuminate a dark corner of the history of this land, Heide-Marie Koch with the book "From the Language of Darius" by translating and examining Elamite writings greatly increased the research in the social-economic history of the Achaemenids. made it easy Nejat Gionch, Mirkamal Benipour, Pavel Luft, and Heintz Georg Maygood were also students of Hintz who followed the school of "Shpoler, Heintz, Romer". But one of the most prominent students of Hintz is Dr. Parviz Rajabi, who has been his student for about fourteen years. The lost millennia and Iranian celebrations are among his works. Until now, the book "The Lost World of Elam" (translated by Firoz Firoznia, 1371) was published by him in Persian language. "New findings from Ancient Iran", "Dariush and the Iranians", "Iran Travelogue" and "Ilam Rule" are among his famous works.
